In the fjords around Orust, at the foot of Bredfjället, perhaps the best mussels in the world are grown. That’s where our thought started. With a restaurant, bar and the opportunity to accompany us on our expeditions, our business today extends from Lyckorna’s ancient spa environment to the miles of underwater gardens far out in the fjords all the way to Kleven on Smögen. We offer taste experiences and food adventures around our most environmentally friendly delicacy, the blue mussel. In all simplicity. We cook mussels in different ways depending on the season and mood.
Svärd’s kitchen, our creative room where the chefs can take turns on the menu and cook meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan food. The kitchen is signed by our head chef Philip Svärd and there it´s name from. We use locally produced and Swedish ingredients as often as we can and try to stick to sustainably grown and fairly produced ingredients overall. After all, it’s about giving our fantastic chefs the best possible cooking experience. So that your taste experience is as pleasant as possible.
Delicacy pizzas with a touch of the sea and the forest we have around us. Here you can choose pizza with white fish roe or why not a bianco fanfar with mixed forest mushrooms?
SÖTT & SALT
Our kitchen with delicious desserts, where it is both sweet and salty. You can choose from which cuisine you feel like during your meal.
We want to invite you to the first floor with a view of Smögenbryggan and its harbour. We cook the food from scratch and in addition to our Bohuslän mussels, we try to find locally produced collaborations with seasonal variations. The drink menu where we use old classic recipes and twist them with our own spirits from Klocktornet’s distillery, homemade purées and syrups.
